CONGRATULATIONS TO KATE MONAHAN |
|
Kate has been
invited to the 2008 US Rowing Junior
Women's National Team Development
Camp this summer. She will
spend four weeks training at US
Coast Guard Academy in New London,
CT, culminating in a competition at
nationals in Camden, NJ. Best
of luck to you, Kate, in this
wonderful journey! We are all
so proud! |

CHICAGO SPRINTS REGATTA
|
Lincoln Park Rowing Club is
sponsoring its annual Chicago
Sprints Regatta on July 12-13 at the
Lincoln Park lagoon.
Registration is open until July 7
but is expected to fill up quickly.
Competition is open for:
Single
Men’s and Women’s categories for
Open, Masters, Ltwt, Masters Ltwt,
Junior, Adaptive and Recreational
Double
Men’s and Women’s categories for
Open, Masters, Ltwt, Masters Ltwt,
Junior and Adaptive, Mixed category
for Open and Masters
Four
Men’s and Women’s categories for
Open, Masters, Ltwt,Masters Ltwt,
Novice, and Junior
Eight
Men’s and Women’s categories for
Open, Masters, Ltwt, Novice, Junior,
Mixed category for Open
ICC
rowers who want to compete at the
Chicago Sprints Regatta should send
an e-mail to
Sheila Bauschelt. Because this is
not an event sponsored by ICC,
interested rowers will need to join Lincoln Park Boat Club in order to
participate. If, however, there are
enough interested ICC boys or girls
to make up a boat, the club will
consider sponsoring a boat To
